Mariane Maximous, VP, Feedstocks and Mechanical Recycling, Americas

Mariane has over 24 years of experience in the chemical industry and currently leads the Feedstock and Mechanical Recycling team for the Americas at LyondellBasell (LYB), advancing business development and industry collaborations to achieve circularity goals. Before rejoining LYB in 2023, she led global ethylene and methanol sourcing at Celanese, securing strategic supplier partnerships. Mariane began her career as a process engineer at ExxonMobil and later held diverse roles at LYB in operations, finance, investor relations, strategy and commercial leadership. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech, an MBA from the University of Houston and a Global Management certificate from Harvard Business School.
